A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned as follows: Per chevron Gules and Vert a sword and key saltirewise hilt and bow to base Argent, alighting from chief onto the sword-blade an eagle of the last, issuing from dexter chief a lightning flash of the like. Attached below a bipartite Scarlet motto scroll inscribed "PERGITE PROELIUM" in Silver letters.

The key refers to the Military Intelligence input supporting the mission, the chevron shape at the base of the shield alludes to Engineers and emphasizes a foundation of strength and unit solidarity.
